About these terms
These terms apply to your use of Nikah Connect, operated by [Registered company name] (company number [Company registration no.]). By creating an account you agree to them.
Who can join
- Candidates must be Muslim, at least 18 years old, living in the UK and seeking marriage.
- A parent, sibling or wali may register on a candidate’s behalf only with the candidate’s knowledge and agreement.
- Each candidate may have one biodata. Duplicate or misleading profiles will be removed.
Your biodata
You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. Do not include names, phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles or links in the parts other members can read — our form will ask you to remove them.
Every biodata is reviewed by our team. We may ask for changes, or decline to publish a biodata, at our discretion. Edits to an approved biodata are reviewed again before they appear.
Respectful conduct
- Express interest sincerely and only with the intention of marriage.
- Do not attempt to contact other members outside the introductions we arrange.
- Do not copy, screenshot or share another member’s biodata.
- Treat members, families and our team with courtesy.
Membership and payment
Essential is free. Paid memberships renew automatically each period until cancelled; you can cancel at any time from your dashboard and keep your benefits until the end of the paid period. Prices are shown on our Pricing page. [Refund and cooling-off terms to be confirmed under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.]
Introductions
We arrange introductions with care, but we cannot guarantee a match or vouch for any member beyond the checks we describe. Families should make their own enquiries before agreeing to marriage.
Pausing, leaving and suspension
You can pause or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put others at risk, and will tell you why unless it would be unsafe to do so.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [England and Wales]. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
