Our commitment
Marriage is a serious matter, and the people who trust us with their details deserve to be safe. Our service is designed so that members never contact each other directly: introductions happen through our team, with families involved.
The checks we make
- Every biodata is read by a person before it appears on the portal.
- We may verify identity and phone number, and we contact the named wali or family member.
- Where a family member registers a candidate, we confirm that the candidate has agreed.
- Contact details are removed from anything other members can read.
Consent and forced marriage
Islam requires the free consent of both the bride and the groom. We will not knowingly assist any introduction where a candidate is under 18, is being pressured, or has not agreed to be listed.
If you are worried that you or someone else is being forced into marriage, contact the Forced Marriage Unit on 020 7008 0151, or call 999 in an emergency.
Raising a concern
If anything about a profile or an introduction concerns you, write to us at [hello@your-domain]. We treat every report in confidence, may pause the profiles involved while we look into it, and will respond within [X working days].
Safeguarding lead
[Name / role of the designated safeguarding lead and how to reach them.] Our team receives safeguarding training [frequency to be confirmed].
